The Return of the King Booster
Eleven-card booster packs include 1 rare and a mix of common and uncommon cards. A foil from the complete parallel diffraction foil set will replace a common card in approximately one in six booster packs. Boosters contain only cards from The Return of the King expansion.
The first of three expansions making up the King block, The Return of the King's 365 cards introduces new game mechanics ("threats" and "initiative"), a new site path, new versions of all the Fellowship members, Arwen, and Elrond, and new characters such as Denethor (only seen as a preview version). All cards in this set are compatible with all previous The Lord of the RIngs TCG cards, and are playable in both the open tournament format and the King block format.
This full-sized expansion set comes in starter decks and booster packs.
Starter decks have 63-cards, and are playable out of the box with the included rulebook. Two different configuration starter decks are available, one featuring Aragorn and the other ?omer. Starters contain only cards from The Return of the King expansion.
