The Hobbit: Sword of Fili the Dwarf
Fili, brother to Kili and nephew to Thorin, is one of the 13 Dwarves that sets out with Thorin. In hopes of retaking their kingdom from the dragon Smaug, Bilbo, Gandalf, and the 12 Dwarves set out from the Shire, heading towards the Lonely Mountain. Fili, being one of the youngest in the group, is often chosen for scouting ahead, and plays a crucial role in many of the adventures the Dwarves and Bilbo come across. One of the few clues to his royal heritage is found on his knife, and sword hilt, for Fili wore no ostentatious pretensions of grandeur or office, choosing to garb himself practically, his nobility portrayed in bearing instead of proud raiment. Fili is an honorable warrior, and will prove his value throughout the entirity of the journey.
